Lead Guide

Victoria Monigold

Victoria is a mama of three children with a diverse background in Waldorf education, primitive skills, and permaculture design. Once upon a time before children, she adventured the Sierra Nevada mountains with her father, fostering a deep love of the natural world. Influenced by Waldorf Education since childhood, she helped establish two beautiful Waldorf-inspired nature preschool and homeschool co-op communities while living in Southern California. Since relocating to Southwest Michigan, she eared certifications in early childhood education and the Michigan Master Naturalist program. She has been actively involved as a forest school guide since 2022.

Victoria is passionate about cultivating the spark of joy for learning through storytelling, creative expression, and connection with the surrounding natural world.

Victoria presents an open and welcoming manner with a respectful approach towards others to invoke a sense of community. She delights in encouraging others to find confidence in their unique talents and abilities, with a fondness for alliteration.

Weaving wonder whilst wandering by the wayside, warbling and whispering wordsmithery amidst the wildflowers and white pines. Together we will wend our way through the wilderness with appreciation so powerful.
