SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY

qWonderful news!! We received a donation for two scholarships which will provide 50% off tuition for the Spring 2025 session at Forest of Light Nature Academy.

The program at Forest of Light Nature Academy offers a Waldorf-inspired village style learning experience for mixed ages (4-14 years).

 For families that are interested in applying, click on the scholarship tab on our website or follow this link to the scholarship application.

We respectfully request that all scholarship applications be submitted by Friday, March 7.

We are in eager anticipation of what spring will bring and so excited for classes to begin on Monday, March 10th!

 

What do we do at Forest of Light? 

We are outside in the elements throughout the day – rain or shine. 
We learn to be in rhythm with the cycles of nature.
We whittle with knives, make fire, use hand tools, climb trees. 
We challenge ourselves in a safe environment.
We learn appreciation for our natural world. 
We practice reciprocity and stewardship.
We sing together and share stories. 
We share gratitude as an intentional practice for regulation.
We learn how to navigate friendship. 
We practice understanding and inclusivity.

We listen to our bodies. We share our minds. We lead with our hearts.
